Your calendars forget. This one doesn't.
HistoriCal copies every past event from every calendar on your Mac into one archive calendar that is yours to keep, edit and annotate. Unsubscribe from the rest whenever you like.
For macOS 14 or later. HistoriCal never writes to your other calendars.
Why HistoriCal
- It keeps:
- Work, school and the kids' team calendars vanish when you leave. The archive stays.
- It's ordinary:
- A real calendar in Calendar.app, on every device the account reaches. No app needed to read it.
- It's yours:
- Edit it, annotate it, delete what you didn't need. What you delete stays deleted.
How it works
- 1. Allow calendars:
- macOS asks once.
- 2. Update Archive Now:
- Every past event is copied.
- 3. Look in Calendar:
- HistoriCal Archive is in your list.
Privacy
Nothing leaves your Mac. HistoriCal has no account and no analytics, and goes online only to check for updates: when you ask, or if you turn on automatic checks. It reads your calendars and writes only to its own archive calendar; your other calendars are never changed. Its records live in ~/Library/Application Support/HistoriCal, and a license key is checked on your Mac, offline.
